What is Microblading? Microblading is a semi-permanent treatment, enhancing the look of your brows. A brush-stroke method is used to shape the most natural looking brows, which adds fullness and definition. A microblading expert will customise the brow shape to suit your own individual proportions.
People are sometimes a bit wary about the process, as it's relatively new. Because it's a semi-permanent technique to enhance the look of the eyebrows, most will ask themselves the same questions. So here's a bit of an explanation.
What is Microblading Exactly?
Microblading is a relatively new, manual semi-permanent make-up method. With a very fine-tip needle, it is possible to create natural hair-like strokes, quite different to the old eyebrow tattoo method which gave a solid coloured brow. The results will last 1-2 years (depending on your own lifestyle and skin type), and as microblading is an enhancement process the results will be soft and very natural-looking.
Who Would Choose Microblading?
People who have lost their hair for various reasons or who want to enhance their brow shape to add more fullness and/or thickness. You can add microblading behind the existing brow hair or above or below the existing brow shape.
You won't need to shave or remove existing brow hair before you start the microblading treatment.
How Long Does It Take?
It's a two-step treatment. It's quite normal for certain hair strokes to completely disappear and look patchy during the healing process. This can last anything up to 7-9 weeks. It might be necessary then to have a touch up to complete the process.
Depending on how well the skin accepts the pigment, some women may require an additional second touch up. Results vary from person to person and can only be determined after the treatment is complete.
When microblading is performed by a fully-qualified expert like Jayne, it is, rest assured, a completely pain-free procedure.
